» Problems with External SWF Buttons
Alright, I've seen quite a few posts on this issue. The current site that I am building has an external swf that loads into the the main movies container movie clip. Now in the external movie (section1.swf), there are buttons located in it. These buttons correspond to other external swf's that I want to load into the main movie container movie clip. If you look at the site the residential button loads the external swf that I want, unfortunately the buttons on the main movie do not call external swf's to replace the one that is loaded via the section1.swf file. I have several questions about the cookies on this forum using VB3. Currently on VB2 on my own forums, I can log into the forums using two different computers, two different ISPs (work/home) and when I arrive using either form computer, the forums recognize me...as having been to the site on the other computer. And so it shows the "new posts" since my last visit, even if my last visit was on the other computer. It remembered and recognized both sets of cookies.... Here, though. I log in at home and then later at work and the forums do not recognize that I was on this site earlier. It shows me all the posts since the last time I visited on that computer. After installing and 'updating' MGS (the first one), when I try to play it, it says "Please insert the correct CD and restart the application". I've got the legit version, and I've tried out both the CDs. It doesn't work. Would 2" PVC pipe be able to support a 10'X20" vinyl backdrop. I have a support system mounted in place but need something to roll the drop onto...would the PVC do it or would it bend? Hi everybody, first time poster! I am having some what of a head banging issue here with an embedded excel sheet in word. Heres the run down, we just upgraded to Office 07 here at work, we have these templates in word created for us with embedded excel sheets that we can edit for each client. Normally, I double click the excel sheet and I can edit it within word, but for some reason one of them I can not edit. I double click it as I do with others, but this particular one removes all the data that was previously input, and goes back to the blank template. I mean focus and detail wise. I think the person i got this from said it was a 10-20mm lens. But how in the hell would you get such a large view in such great detail? Morning all-- I am shooting an event this evening from 7-11pm. At 7pm there will still be a significant amount of light outside, so I'm good with that. But around 8-9ish we'll be going into a tented area (large with a wood floor etc). I'm a little apprehensive about my lighting conditions. I have a 580EX flash. Is it necessary to use my stroboframe? Obviously, I won't want crazy shadows all over the place. But it definitely makes my camera heavier. Any tips for the evening? How can I reinstall Word alone? It keeps crashing and has to be opened in Safe Mode. I created a floating toolbar with macros attached to it for a specific Excel spreadsheet. Whenever I run another spreadsheet, the floating toolbar appears. But the toolbar has no meaning to any but the original spreadsheet. Is there a way to make the floating toolbar appear only with the intended spreadsheet. It is easy enough to just close the toolbar, but there must be a more elegant solution. Also if I close the toolbar in a workbook, it no longer appears in the intended spreadsheet and I have to VIEW=>TOOLBARS and select it. I tried to get around this by having a macro that would run when I open the workbook. This macro would bring up the toolbar. Alright, I've seen quite a few posts on this issue. The current site that I am building has an external swf that loads into the the main movies container movie clip. Now in the external movie (section1.swf), there are buttons located in it. These buttons correspond to other external swf's that I want to load into the main movie container movie clip. If you look at the site the residential button loads the external swf that I want, unfortunately the buttons on the main movie do not call external swf's to replace the one that is loaded via the section1.swf file. Currently on VB2 on my own forums, I can log into the forums using two different computers, two different ISPs (work/home) and when I arrive using either form computer, the forums recognize me...as having been to the site on the other computer. And so it shows the "new posts" since my last visit, even if my last visit was on the other computer. It remembered and recognized both sets of cookies.... Here, though. Heres the run down, we just upgraded to Office 07 here at work, we have these templates in word created for us with embedded excel sheets that we can edit for each client. Normally, I double click the excel sheet and I can edit it within word, but for some reason one of them I can not edit. I double click it as I do with others, but this particular one removes all the data that was previously input, and goes back to the blank template. All other embedded excel objects within this word document can be edited... what gives? How can I reinstall Word alone? It keeps crashing and has to be opened in Safe Mode. I mean i would like to simulate a tv screen using an iframe centered in my page, and so i wuld like to insert 4 swf files representing the border of the tv AROUND the iframe. i had it done on tuesday, same day i went home. i ended up needing a foley because i couldnt urinate. i took it out yesterday im ok for now but im still very swollen and i thought by now the swelling would have gone down. i clean the area as much as i can while i do my sitz bath, but at times the pain is so bad i cant do anything but cry. i use stool softeners and im taking tylenol extra strength and antibiotics from the possibility of an infection from the foley. i just put aloe vera on the spot. i have the plant thank god. and im getting epsom salt soon for baths. i dont know if it really helps i just did research. im going to see my doctor tomorrow. the problem is, after my surgery my doctor left and didnt talk to me!! not very professio...... - 2009-07-04

I created a floating toolbar with macros attached to it for a specific Excel spreadsheet. Whenever I run another spreadsheet, the floating toolbar appears. But the toolbar has no meaning to any but the original spreadsheet. Is there a way to make the floating toolbar appear only with the intended spreadsheet. It is easy enough to just close the toolbar, but there must be a more elegant solution. Also if I close the toolbar in a workbook, it no longer appears in the intended spreadsheet and I have to VIEW=>TOOLBARS and select it. I tried to get around this by having a macro that would run when I open the workbook. This macro would bring up the toolbar. Hey - for a project I've been working on I needed a smooth color change. I found Kirupa's tutorial on random color change, and changed it around sligthly to do what I needed. I am horribly bad in math. However I am fascinated with all sciences. Astronomy, Neurology, Geology, Technology.. everything. Like I said because I am so bad in math I could never be a engineer or anything like that. Along with that issue I do not think I could ever settle on just ONE field of science to select as a career. I've tried and I just get distracted by something else. Because of this should I invest in working at a magazine company like Scientific American or National Geographic?
